Application for Non Molestation Orders – Made Easy!
Some Solicitors make out that obtaining Non Molestation Orders is a complex matter but nothing could be further from the truth! The links shown below lead you to the required forms and information regarding application of a Non Molestation Order.
If the individual client wishes to apply for a Non Molestation Order they will require a FL401 Application Form (4 copies) & a N285 Form to explain why the Order is being applied for (effectively a statement) and finally a EX160 if the client thinks they will not have to pay any fee. In this case they will have to support this with tangible evidence that they are currently receiving Income Support or Family Credit in support of the EX160 form. If they are not entitled to this exemption then they will have to take the money to court on the day of application.
HM Courts will always advise that a victim seeks assistance from a Solicitor, The Law Society or the CAB to complete the forms, even though these are considered to be “DIY” Civil Protection Orders it is in fact the legal process that is not as straight forward as it might at first appear! Our Bedfordshire IDVA’s remain an excellent source of information in relation to this subject and remain happy to be consulted if further support is required.
